Oatmeal soothes skin irritation and itchy rashes, such as dermatitis, eczema, poison ivy and sunburn. Colloidal oatmeal controls itching by restoring moisture to the stratum corneum layer of the skin. Oatmeal soap is beneficial for anyone with oily or acne-prone skin. Oatmeal has astringent properties and helps draw oil out of the skin. Using oatmeal soap can restore the skin's natural pH. Due to antioxidant benefits, oats can help in reversing damage caused by UV rays, pollution, harsh chemicals, etc. on your skin. Coupled with raw manuka honey, this soap effectively aids in combatting acne. Honey contains antioxidants, is a humectant and hygroscopic absorbing moisture from the air.  Humectants are used in cosmetic products to help moisturize and smooth the skin. As with all our soaps, the water used in making our soaps is ten times filtered alkaline water.
